Wooden Bill Organizer

There is nothing more traditional and classic than the look of wood. Wood is not only a beautiful building material but a sturdy one also. If you have a wooden desk, or even one crafted from a different material, consider a wooden bill organizer. Everyone needs a way to keep track of bills and these organizers are the perfect way. They come in many different sizes and configurations to meet all kinds of needs. One of the most popular types of wooden organizers are those with 31 slots for each day of the month.

These organizers are somewhat long and require a desk large enough to accommodate them. The slots are small but large enough to fit quite a bit of paper mail. Many of the desktop organizers of this type have drawers or compartments where you can keep writing utensils, paper clips, staples and other office items. Another type of wooden organizer to consider is the 31 day rotating organizer. These take up far less space than the rectangular shaped ones but have the same number of slots for bill organization.

You can even find wooden organizers that hang on the wall. Making use of wall space is ideal for people with limited room. If your home office is small consider one of these hanging organizers. They also have multiple pockets for filing bills although not all of them are as large as the desktop variety of organizer. If you are handy with woodworking or know someone who is, you can track down a pattern online or from a woodworking magazine. Usually the patterns for making wood hanging organizers, or desktop ones for that matter, are reasonably simple and require only basic woodworking tools.

A wooden bill organizer makes a great gift for friends and family who need some kind of organizational system for their mail. For example, if your parents or your best friend has a massive unorganized pile of mail stacked up every month, one of these organizers makes a great present for a holiday or birthday. You may even want to give yourself the gift of a more organized household. By getting your bills in order, your stress level in this area is likely to decrease which is definitely a good thing.
